Scarlett Johansson is an American singer and actress who was born in NYC New York on November 22 in 1984. Her performance has won her acclaim across a wide spectrum of genres such as historical drama or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her father, an architect, and mother who produced. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. When she was a child she began to develop a passion for performing and started making commercial auditions around the age of seven. The passion for acting developed quickly, and she was soon after to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Her debut came as an actor in the film North (1994) at the age of nine. When she was eight years old, she appeared with Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson was later seen as a character in Just Cause (1995), but her first break was in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters running away. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson was a teenager who suffered an incredibly tragic accident. Her role in Ghost World brought her more fame as the outcast teen Rebecca. She is best known for being the character Nell Jones (on CBS' popular show NCIS Los Angeles). The award-winning actress was among the main characters on the show. She has a vast experience as a stage actor, as well as being in the show. She has given one of the most memorable shows, like in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a young girl when she started her professional career as an entertainer. In her childhood, she became fascinated with acting. Smith's parents aided her in finding her first stage role when she was just six. On a TV commercial, she starred as Dannon Yogurt. As many new actresses, she chose to develop her talents in the theatre. When she performed her stage debut in Wildflower she also worked in various projects throughout the USA. She attended the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
