Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian Swiss as is her mom who's English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council located south of London. At the age 14, she attended The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While at school she appeared in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career through the film Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe scored her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Her success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi as the main character in the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. After being a regular for the initial two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode in the season's third. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's sports brothers were avid baseball players during the summer months and hockey in the winter. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at the age of two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley developed a passion for dancing shortly after she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley participated in the top divisions of tap, jazz ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished high school. Every big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and others, have awarded her with the honor of "top individualist".
