Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last term of junior high. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her brother who is older and Evan is her younger brother. In the years between nine and 16 Her first introduction to the business world was when she started modeling. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum.
